Anil is our principle advisor. He has over 23 years of commercial and business experience and understands the challenges that business owners face. He understands what it takes to improve their business and how this flows onto improved lifestyle for themselves, their team and their families. His focus is to bring about these changes and improvements so that our clients can achieve more in life.
As a trained CPA, Anil has a strong understanding of the fundamentals of business success. For over 15 years prior to starting Nexus, Anil worked in a wide range of industries ranging from large publicly listed multi-nationals to small Australian companies where he held various senior Finance, Commercial and Marketing roles. He is focused on continuously developing himself and building his skills and knowledge base and holds a Master of Management degree in addition to his CPA and Bachelor of Commerce qualifications.
However, unlike many accountants, Anil loves working with people and can communicate in ‘plain English’. He is passionate about working closely with business owners and senior managers to bring about practical innovations and improvements through self-development, practical sales and marketing initiatives, improved team dynamics and systematisation of processes.
Anil runs several businesses and is a keen property and share investor and market watcher. He has a young family with a wife and three children, resides in the Lower Blue Mountains and is actively involved in the local community. He is focused on giving his clients the same opportunities and lifestyle that he enjoys and that he has achieved through running successful businesses.
Client Services Manager
Our most recent addition to the team, Leslie Cruz, is an experienced business professional who has had over 10 years experience in a wide variety of client support roles. She is here to support the team at Nexus BGS to help our clients get fantastic results. Most recently Leslie has built a team of business support professionals for a leading Australian carpet cleaning business, comprising customer service managers, sales reps, online marketing specialists and graphics designers.
As our Client Services Manager, Leslie is here to ensure that our clients receive superior levels of service and support and have a consistent and professional experience with us. She is also available to provide support to our clients' office and admin teams in a variety of areas.
Kylie has held the position of Administration and Office Manager at Nexus BGS for more than 5 years. Personal Assistant to Anil, Kylie oversees the administrative functions of our business providing receptionist, secretarial and administrative support to the entire Nexus BGS team.
Before joining the Nexus BGS team, Kylie spent 12 years in childcare in and around the Penrith region and holds a Diploma of Community Services (Children’s Services), a qualification she says helps when keeping ‘the boys’ in the office under control.
Kylie helps her husband with their construction business (DNK Services) and when she’s not behind a desk and computer, she enjoys life in the fast-lane on her motorcycle or jet ski - so look out!
Nexus BGS, and our clients, are fortunate to have access to Alison Dunne as our internal Accounts Manager - and accounts consultant for your business! With more than 30 years experience in accounts and accounts management, Alison owns and operates Positive Balance Bookkeeping.
Alison holds a Diploma of Accounting in Financial Services, is a registered BAS agent and is a certified MYOB consultant. She can help you set up a chart of accounts, install, implement and train your staff on MYOB and keep your numbers up-to-date. Born in Penrith, this local girl loves her Penrith Panthers and is the Secretary and Coach at Mackillop Baseball Club.
